About Me
Carla grew up in the midwest, is a Master Gardener and loves being outdoors. Having been a professional baker and semi professional cook, she remains on the never ending journey of finding the perfect scone, pie crust and sourdough bread. She has a sandwich named after her; (a vegetarian sandwich called “Carlas Craving”) from her time in restrataunt work.
As a Certified Clinical Social Worker in Gerontology (CSW-G), with experience working in hospital, hospice and community mental health, Carla skillfully facilitates navigation of the strong emotions that rise up when one is in the vortex of unknown/change. Services include individual and group therapy as well as private consultation regarding issues of aging.
As an Ordained Shamanic Minister, Carla offers a unique orientation of interpersonal connection and spiritual development; a weaving of individuals and community, forming a greater sense of wellbeing for All. She does so by offering activities which focus upon both individual and community, working to advocate living a life of purpose and passion.
